What types of printing paper do you offer?
information
Printing
Ultra white: A subtle pearl/lustre finish with a heavy base weight of 271gsm giving it a true photographic paper
texture and finish. Manufactured to be the whitest Oyster/Pearl surfaced paper on the market,
this tough, instant dry, resin coated paper is finished with a UV protective, microporous supercoat
giving it a high degree of water and fade resistance.
Fine art: A 100% cotton rag paper with a classically smooth matt finish and a highly calendered surface.
Its 285gsm, acid-free base is perfect for archival standard fine art photography reproductions or high key portraiture.
Pearlescent: A beautiful pronounced textured finish on a heavyweight 280gsm silver resin coated base.
A photo paper truly resembling the look, feel and print quality of a metallic surface with its high silver pigment content.
Incredible detail and clarity is achievable delivering stunning high resolution visual impact and making your images just jump off the paper.
What types of glass do you offer?
information
Glass
Standard: 2mm glass, the industry standard option.
Diffused non-reflective: The glass is finely etched on one side to diffuse light, resulting in minimised glare.
The etching will affect the clarity of the image by increasing the opacity.
Art anti-reflective: Outstanding colour reproduction, the glass reduces glare of natural light.
This glass is not 100% anti-reflective, but is the closest you can get.
Glass spacer: This 1.5mm acrylic spacer is used to separate the glass from the print when no mount is used. Over time an image on paper in contact with the glass may absorb condensation, this can cause discoloration and deterioration of the print. Historically this has been our default option which we still recommend, however by removing the spacer you can reduce costs.
What types of assembly do you offer for frames?
information
Assembly
Full Assembly: The product is locked into the frame and finished ready to hang on the wall.
You can hand this directly to your client and all they need to do is hang it!
Self Assembly: This option is used when you do not require us to put any prints inside the product.
The product is provided with flexible tabs to hold the contents in.
Signboard Assembly: This type of assembly is ideal if you are putting the product on display for wedding guests to sign.
The glass is placed behind the mount for safe keeping. You can then assemble it yourself with the glass after the event,
ready to hand over to the couple.
What adhesive board options do you offer for frames and mounts?
information
Adhesive Board
None: Usually selected if you have ordered prints from another lab already dry-mounted or with adhesive board.
We would strongly recommend all prints are adhered to a board to prevent rippling of images.
Print size: Self-adhesive board provided to the size of the print(s). This board is used to prevent the photographs
rippling over time.
Frame size: Self-adhesive board provided to the frame size with a scored area for each print to help you line
them up. This option is usually selected for non-framed mounts to ensure a neat and tidy backing.
However you may also wish to choose this for large multi-aperture mounts to make assembly easier.
